Professional Background

I have served as a mediator for 18 years, beginning in 1986. Prior to that time, I worked to establish the Ministry of Reconciliation for my denomination. I have a degree in psychology, and worked as an attorney from 1976 through 1990. I serve on the Peace and Justice Commission for the Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County, as well as on the Indiana Registries for Domestic Relations and for Civil Mediators and the Association for Conflict Resolution.

Mediation Experience

I have mediated over 650 disputes in the last 18 years, and teach basic and advanced mediation courses.

Training

I have taken over 1,000 hours of training in divorce mediation, civil mediation, transformative mediation, community dispute resolution, victim-offender reconciliation, Date' Discernment Circle training, and others. I provide 40 hour seminars approved by the Indiana Supreme Court, as well as advanced seminars.

Education

University of Michigan Law School, Juris Doctor, and Elmhurst College, B.A. in Psychology and in Political Science magna cum laud.
